Excerpt from 'Submarine'
Just as she was about to put her purse inside the locker there was an earth shaking crack! It felt and sounded like a giant with a lead mallet had bored a hole straight into a steel mountain!
Crystal never knew what made her do what she did, but she ran outside immediately and straight toward her car. As she pressed the automatic unlock button, she turned briefly and saw what had happened! She barely fought the panic down as she turned her car on and headed in the direction of the gates. There was nothing she could do!
The entire cruise ship hotel had broken from its cement supports. It slid forward, tilted down and went straight into the water. It may have been made like a ship, but it sunk like a ton of bricks!
